Frequently Asked Questions
How many people are the menus created for?
The recipes are based on adult portions. You have the option to choose a Duo Bag serving 2 or a Family Bag serving 4.
How much packaging can I expect?
Being local and only delivering in Marin County we are able to keep the packaging to a minimum. You should expect no more packaging then if you went to the store on your own.
What if I am not at home when the delivery arrives?
We deliver on Mondays between 3pm and 6pm. If you are not going to be home at the time of delivery, we suggest that you place a small ice chest by your front door. Our driver will place any perishable items in the cooler. We will also send you a text to let you know your delivery has been dropped off.
When do I need to place my order, can it be changed, and when will I be billed for my delivery?
All orders must be placed or changed by Thursday at 10am PST prior to the following week's delivery. Your credit card will be automatically charged on the Thursday before delivery. You will receive an email receipt once your payment has been processed. Please note that it may take up to 3 business days for the charge to show up on your personal statement.
How do you keep the produce fresh if it’s really hot outside at time of delivery?
We make sure the food is kept fresh and is maintained at the correct temperature during delivery. We suggest you leave a cooler with ice packs outside for us if you are not at home to receive the delivery.
What if I am not satisfied with the quality of the food that is delivered?
We guarantee the quality of all of the ingredients. If you are unsatisfied, we will provide a refund or credit you for the cost of the item.

A former member of the corporate world and busy mother of two, Pernilla started the Marin based business in 2012 and has been met with much success. She was inspired to create the business because she herself felt the need, and knew her from native Sweden, the country first to offer the dinner kit in 2007, called Middagsfrid, that the business model was successful. Pernilla used that success as a guide for her own. Her key has been to keep it local: she only delivers in Marin County, and to give back as much as she can to her community and to its schools.

In Marin County, a very different service, a local Blue Apron of sorts, caters to busy families. Pernilla Sumner started Pernilla's Pantry (pernillaspantry.com), which delivers anywhere from Sausalito to Novato, in 2013.
